EXPERIENCE THE BEAUTIFUL SCENERY AT DEEP CREEK

After you have enjoyed a delicious breakfast, you should take time to experience some of the breathtaking scenery that Garrett County has to offer. Deep Creek Lake is a popular all-season travel destination only 20 minutes away from Grantsville. It is the largest freshwater lake in Maryland and covers 3,900 acres. Deep Creek Lake offers many recreational options like boating, white-water rafting, fishing, jet-skiing, kayaking, swimming and water sports. In the winter, there is even ice-fishing on the frozen lake.

If you are looking for some backcountry fun while visiting, check out the guided hiking tours from All Earth Eco Tours. These tours allow you an opportunity to venture into the forests and backcountry areas to explore hidden gems and learn about the plants, animals, local ecosystem and the area's history. These tours are fun for the whole family, and they are a perfect way to experience all of the beauty found at Deep Creek.

GRAB LUNCH AT THE CASSELMAN BAKERY AND CAFE
