The Casselman Inn was built in 1842 in Garrett County, Maryland, created initially to serve travelers on the National Road. However, the hotel now serves both travelers and tourists. Considered to be one of the most significant historical landmarks in Western Maryland, the Casselman is now a second-generation family-owned and operated hotel.

Dorsey Suite
For an even more extraordinary experience, our historic, two-room Dorsey Suite is available for a maximum of four guests to stay in. The classic beauty of the antique furnishings and oversized double bed combined with the sofa’s comfort that can open into an additional bed and the luxury of a private bath with a clawfoot tub and a soaking tub make this suite exquisite.

One of the greatest luxuries of staying at the Casselman Inn is the historic bed and breakfast dining experience. Every stay at the Casselman comes with a voucher for a complimentary breakfast in our restaurant for the days it’s open. Please remember the kitchen is closed on Sundays so we provide baked goods in the breakfast nook instead.
The Casselman’s historic restaurant features the same wooden floors and decor as when it was built in 1842, as well as the “new” dining room, which was added in 1973 and comfortably seated 125 people.
The cuisine of our restaurant is simple, country food with a variety of favorite recipes reminiscent of the owners' Pennsylvania Dutch and Amish backgrounds.
In our bakery, we cook a delicious variety of desserts and breads, using the same recipes as when the Casselman first opened its doors.
