The Casselman Bakery and Cafe opened in the Spring of 2018 to expand our tradition of home-cooked foods and baked goods to another area. Our bakery and cafe are located right in the heart of Deep Creek Lake near Oakland, Maryland.

We proudly bake our sweets daily for optimal freshness, and we sell many different jams and jellies and our homemade apple butter at this location. Nothing makes quite the snacking pair like our fresh baked bread and apple butter! 

DAILY HOMEMADE SPECIALS

At The Casselman Bakery and Cafe, we offer different daily specials and our menu of soups, salads, wraps and sandwiches. Some of our special customer favorites include our loaded BLT, steak fajita wrap, steak melt, lasagna, chicken salad, macaroni salad, ham and bean soup, and of course, our homemade Maryland crab soup! The Casselman has been around since 1842, and to this day, we continue our long, treasured history of serving travelers and the local community.
