SNOW SPORTS TO ENJOY NEAR GRANTSVILLE
Skiing and Snowboarding
Home to the Wisp Resort in McHenry, Maryland, and within only an hour of several other resort destinations, hit the slopes for a jam-packed weekend of snowy fun. Also offered at Wisp are several activities like snow tubing, mountain coaster, dining, cafes, and shops.
Ice Skating
Not one for the slopes? No worries! Nearby are several ice skating rinks to enjoy with family and friends. Take a trip to Rostraver Ice Garden, The Ice Mine, or Moon Glow II, all within an hour and a half, respectively.
Cross Country Skiing
Are you looking to enjoy a little exercise on your vacation? Grantsville has you covered! Pile everyone into the car and take a trip to nearby New Germany State Park, Savage River State Forest, Herrington Manor State Park, or Deep Creek Lake State Park for a jam-packed day of cross country skiing.
